Get in the game with these half-time hankerings.

FootballCookies

Football & Player Peanut Butter-Chocolate Cookies

Melt chocolate bark as the label directs. Stick a toothpick into the bottoms of peanut butter cookies; dip them into chocolate bark to cover completely or just one end to create a helmet shape. Let the cookies dry, then pipe on laces, eyes and helmet masks with melted white chocolate candy coating.

 FootballRiceBalls

Cocoa Krispie® Footballs

In large saucepot, melt 3 T. butter; add 4 C. mini marshmallows and stir until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat and stir in 6 C. Cocoa Krispies® cereal; refrigerate two minutes. Shape into footballs and pipe on white laces with melted white chocolate candy coating.

 FootballCrackers

Football Crackers

Cut slices of salami and cheese into football shapes. Place on oval-shaped pretzel crackers; top some with a second pretzel cracker for variety and make the laces with horseradish sauce.

  FootballSausagePlayers

Sausage Players

Cut extra large olives in half to create helmets and slit them in the back. Top cocktail links with olive helmets; pipe on eyes and facemask with mustard.

Don’t come up short when game time rolls around. Let Roche Bros. make it simple and flavorful with Tasty Tailgating offerings that are fresh and ready to go. Sit back, relax, enjoy the game, and we will help you make your tailgating party easy, with options for everyone at your party.

First Half

Everything starts with the Guacamole Outpost. Game-day weekends feature fresh guacamole, made to order at our Guacamole Carts. It works well as a dip, or as a spread on sandwiches. Or if you’re more of a do-it-yourself kind of person, fresh Haas Avocadoes are available in our produce department.

Make your game-time finger food spicy and fun for with our Build Your Own Nacho Kits, with pre-cooked seasoned ground beef, homemade chips and all the fixings!

Swing by Our Kitchen for a wide assortment of appetizers and finger foods for all types of parties. Try some of our homemade dips, such as 7 Layer Dip,  Buffalo Chicken Dip, and Spinach & Artichoke Dip, with crackers, chips or cut veggies. Also select from other finger-food favorites, including chicken tenders and stuffed potato skins, with three types of fillings, buffalo chicken, BBQ pork or bacon & cheddar.

Football season is prime time for our Wing Bar, with long-time favorite Honeystung Monster Wings, and crispy flats & drummies, as well as our all-natural Bell & Evans wings in four flavors: buffalo, sweet teriyaki, maple bourbon and Carolina BBQ.

Catch everyone’s attention with our Bakery’s Bloomin’ Bread, a tailgating staple.  Loaded with mozzarella and pepperoni, your guests will pull it apart in seconds!

Second Half

Our USDA Prime Burgers and sliders are ready for half time.  Switch things up with our flavors such as the Steak Bomb, Bacon and Cheddar, or Portabella Swiss.

Italian sausage and Bratwurst or marinated steak tips are also crowd pleasers. Grill them up and finish them off with onions and peppers.

If  you don’t want the hassle of cooking a big meal, our BBQ Pulled Pork and St. Louis Ribs are tangy, flavorful, ready to heat and serve. Add our deli’s cole slaw or homemade potato salad to complete the spread.

Visit the seafood department for a Shrimp Cocktail Platter. We arrange our fresh cocktail shrimp with slices of lemon and plenty of tangy, spicy cocktail sauce on a tray that’s ready to serve. Or serve up our Buffalo Shrimp Dip tray.

Finish the party off with desserts from our Bakery. Football Field Dessert Cakes and Football Whoopie Pies are festive additions to your spread. For a smaller gathering, try a brownie and cookie snack plate.

We hope to see you every weekend during football season to help with your tailgating parties. Enjoy the season, and of course, go Pats!
