Founder Pete Lescoe started Food Should Taste Good, Inc in his small apartment kitchen in Waltham, Mass. in 2006 with the goal of making a unique new snack with great taste, real ingredients and sophisticated flavor.

The first flavors, born in January 2006, balanced a wholesome and approachable chip with a hot and spicy one. The original Multigrain Chips are still the company’s most popular offering. And at the same time, Pete created the irresistible Jalapeno Chips in honor of his love for all things spicy.

A few months later, Food Should Taste Good earned its spot on grocery store shelves, and Roche Bros. is proud to offer them in our grocery department.

Food Should Taste Good chips are made from high quality ingredients. All chip varieties are gluten free, cholesterol free and have no trans fats. They are also certified Kosher. Plus, many varieties are certified vegan.

The company has also enrolled its products in the Non-GMO Project.  This third party certification by the Non-GMO Project will, once their products are verified, provide customers with additional assurance that they are produced without the use of GMO ingredients. Recently, their Original Kettle Cooked Sweet Potato Chips became the first of their products to be verified.
