A great day starts with a great breakfast! Sometimes that means healthy and balanced and other days it means indulging in something you simply can’t resist.
Whatever sort of day you’re having, here is a morning menu with choices for everyone at your table:
The Healthier Side
Fresh Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits
Make a healthy and beautiful presentation with fruit and yogurt parfaits. Layer plain or vanilla yogurt with your choice of berries, chopped mangoes or pineapples. Add granola and mixed nuts in layers. Drizzle a little organic honey on top! If you don’t have time to make them at home, pick some parfaits up in the store.
Serve with a side of homemade Breakfast Cookies, made with protein-rich nut butter, shredded apples, bananas and dried fruit.
Egg and Veggie Muffins
Combine protein and produce in egg muffins baked in the oven! Mix together your favorite chopped vegetables, including peppers, tomatoes, onions and spinach, plus fresh herbs such as thyme or rosemary. Add some cheese, season with salt and pepper, and blend the mixture together with eggs. Divide into muffin tins and bake at 350F until cooked through.

Smoked Salmon and Avocado Roll-Ups
For a savory breakfast that’s high in protein and heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, spread avocado on slices of smoked salmon from Foley Fish, available in our seafood department. Add a sprinkle of fresh ground black pepper and diced red onions and then roll them up. Change it up with diced tomatoes and capers.
Pancakes with Oats, Nuts, Fruit and More
Add fiber and nutrients to your pancakes by mixing in fruit, nuts and seeds. Up your morning dose of potassium with sliced bananas. Boost your anti-oxidant intake with fresh or dried berries. And add healthy fats with walnuts and almonds. Or spread almond butter on the pancake, add a layer of dried fruit and roll it up!
When It’s Time to Indulge
Buttermilk Pancakes or Waffles with Maple Syrup
Fluffy buttermilk pancakes or thick Belgian waffles, made with rich buttermilk, farm-fresh eggs and creamy butter. Add chocolate chips and top with whipped cream and strawberries for a sweet start to the day. Serve with Roche Bros. center-cut bacon and sausage on the side.
Basket of Baked Confections
Serve up a continental breakfast in your own kitchen! Stop by our bakery for mini cinnamon rolls, large muffins and fresh baked scones in blueberry or raspberry. Add toasted mini bagels as well.

Steak and Eggs with Spicy Home Fries
For a traditional and hearty breakfast or brunch – especially for a big celebration – go for steak and eggs, and expect to be full until dinnertime! Start with a U.S.D.A. Prime or Certified Angus Beef New York Strip Steak on the grill. Serve with eggs over easy and a side of spicy home fries, cooked on the stove with butter, onions and chili powder.
