We’re very excited to announce that the Disney Channel’s Doc McStuffins Team will be visiting our Acton location on January 25th from 1 to 3 pm! Be sure to bring in your favorite stuffed animal or toy for a quick check up or repair from their expert team of stuffed animal doctors.

Radio Disney will also be there with a huge amount of games, prizes, and fun for kids of all ages, so don’t miss out on an afternoon of serious fun!

    I have to say I was very disappointed in what this turned out to be. There was no Doc McStuffins and apparently there never was going to be. We were given a sad excuse about the contract not being worked out. Lesson Learned: Do not advertise something until you have the contract signed. The advertisement, which was picked up by many local parent groups and media outlets, was at best unclear and at worst deceiving. There were many disappointed kids. I was planning on doing my weekly shopping after this, but given what happened I decided to take my business elsewhere.

      Thank you for your feedback. We understand you and many other families were disappointed that an actual Doc McStuffins character did not make an appearance, and for that I apologize. We actually worked out the contract with Radio Disney for this event months ago, so the “excuse” provided to you was from someone uninformed about the event details. When we made arrangements for the event, we asked about a character appearance and were told that the live characters only appear on Disney properties. Thus this was a Doc McStuffins themed clinic with the “Doc team”, stuffed animal repair, related activities and Disney prizes. We never actually advertised that there would be a character appearance, and apologize if the marketing was misleading. We have shared our disappointment with the Disney team, and will certainly be more careful in how we describe future events and what we choose to partner with them for. I do hope we will have the opportunity to win back your business.
