This coming weekend, (March 1st & 2nd) we’re excited to be able to offer our customers the opportunity to sample a few delicious, artisan cheeses locally made in Providence, Rhode Island. Our friends at Narragansett Creamery will be on site in our Wellesley and Westwood locations sampling their Renaissance Ricotta and Salty Sea Feta!
Narragansett Creamery’s Renaissance Ricotta won Best in Class at the Wisconsin Cheesemakers Association World Competition, and last summer won the Gold Medal at the Eastern States Exposition Cheese Contest. It is hand-dipped, light and fluffy, and is so good you can even eat it for dessert with a little honey or fresh fruit.
Their Salty Sea Feta won Best in Class at the U.S. Cheese Championship Contest, and is an old-world style feta, finished in a sea salt brine.
March 1st: Wellesley, 11 am to 2 pm
March 2nd: Westwood, 10 am to 1 pm
