Featured Side Dish: Butternut Squash

For this quintessential comfort food, we take fresh, natural butternut squash and slowly roast it to caramelize its natural sugars.   We then add some butter and brown sugar and a dash of nutmeg and puree until smooth and velvety.  The Butternut Squash is delicious all on its own, alongside an entree from our kitchen to make an everyday meal special, or as a can’t-be-missed part of a holiday celebration.  You can also use pureed butternut squash in recipes, like Pilgrim Pie – a great way to remake Thanksgiving leftovers!
