Ingredients

  • 12 oz Bacon, (diced)
  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 ea Onion, (diced)
  • 1 ea Green Pepper, (diced)
  • 2 tbsp Garlic, (fresh chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 4 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 3 tbsp Cumin
  • 2 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Oregano, (dry)
  • 1 tbsp Thyme, (dry)
  • 2 ea Beer, (mild flavor)
  • 2 cans Kidney Beans
  • 2 tbsp Green Tabasco
  • 1 ea can Crushed Tomatoes, (16 oz)
  • ┬╝ cup Coco Powder

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add the diced bacon to a hot pot on the stove and cook until almost browned
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until brown
  3. Add the onions and peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes, then add the garlic and cook for another minute
  4. Add remaining ingredients, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 20-30 minutes or until thickened
  5. Served with your favorite toppings or try the Kitchens Cuban Black Bean Salad over you chili
