Ingredients

  • 4 spiced chai black tea bags
  • 3/4 cup refrigerated sweetened coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 6 wooden craft sticks

DIRECTIONS

  1. In small saucepan, heat 2 cups water to a boil over high heat; add tea bags and steep 30 minutes. Discard tea bags; whisk in milk and sugar until sugar dissolves. Makes about 2-3/4 cups.
  2. Divide tea mixture into 6 (4-ounce) ice pop molds; freeze 1 hour. Insert sticks into molds; freeze 8 hours. Run molds under warm water for 10 seconds to release pops.

If spiced chai black tea is unavailable, use regular black tea bags and brew with 1 star anise and 1/4 teaspoon each ground cardamom and ground cloves.
