Ingredients

  • 3 cups Food Club canola oil
  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese, halved
  • 4 fully cooked bratwurst, cut crosswise in half
  • 2 green onions, cut crosswise into 2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1/2 cup spicy brown mustard

DIRECTIONS

  1. In medium saucepot, heat oil over medium heat 25 minutes or until temperature reaches 350°.
  2. Place wrappers on work surface with 1 corner of each facing you; evenly place cheese, bratwurst, onions and cabbage in center of wrappers. Brush edges of wrappers with water; fold bottom corner over filling, roll up tightly twice, fold in sides and roll up tightly.
  3. In batches, fry eggrolls in oil 5 minutes or until golden brown and crisp, turning once. Serve with mustard.
