Ingredients

  • 4 cups rolled oats
  • ¾ cup raw almonds (replace with any favorite nut)
  • ¾ cup raw sunflower seeds
  • ¾ cup raw pumpkin seeds
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup apple sauce
  • 2 tablespoons grape seed oil or canola oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup maple syrup

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together and mix well.
  2. In another bowl combine all the wet ingredients together and mix well
  3. Combine the dry and wet ingredients together.
  4. Put parchment paper on a sheet pan and lay the mixture out over it.
  5. Bake in the oven at 325° for 30-40 minutes stirring occasionally.
  6. You are looking for the granola to get a nice brown color without burning.
  7. Let it cool before serving.
  8. Serve with your favorite fruit or berries and your favorite yogurt. It also goes well with milk.
