Delicious Hake fillets served with a Lemon Chive Sauce. Fillets are breaded with a mixture of sesame seeds, Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
Hake: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix sesame seeds, Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs together. Dredge fillets in flour, dip in egg wash and roll in breadcrumb mixture. Heat 1/4” canola oil in large sauté pan. Brown each side of hake fillets in oil then remove to a non-stick baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Sauce: While hake is baking, add wine to a sauté pan and reduce by half. Add shallots, chives, parsley and lemon juice. After sauce has blended, remove from heat and swirl in butter. To Serve: Remove hake from oven and serve topped with sauce.
