Ingredients

  • 2 slices of Bread, (your choice)
  • 4-6 oz Pineland Smoked Cheddar, sliced (enough to cover two slices of bread)
  • ½ ea Granny Smith Apple, (peeled and sliced)
  • 3 slices of Bacon
  • Butter, (enough to spread on the outside of two slices of bread)

DIRECTIONS

Bake the bacon on a sheet pan at 375 for 8-10 minutes or until desired doneness. Remove from the oven and place the cooked bacon on paper towels to help remove the fat. Cover both slices of bread with the cheddar. Lay the sliced apples across one slice of bread and top that with the bacon. Put the sandwich together and spread the butter on the outside of the slices. Grill in a pan on the stove on medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cheese has melted and the bread is golden brown.
