  • ½ pound Bacon, Cut Into Small Pieces
  • ½ cup White Wine (or Chicken Broth)
  • 1 package Mama Rosie's Frozen Cheese Ravioli
  • 3 cups Fresh Spring Spinach
  • 1 pint Cherry Or Grape Tomatoes, Halved
  • 3 tablespoons + 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

  1. Put a large pot of water on the stovetop to boil, and add in about 3 tablespoons of salt.
  2. While the pot of boiling water is heating, brown the bacon pieces in a large skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towel.
  3. Cook pasta according to directions on package, MINUS 1 MINUTE (until just under al dente).
  4. While pasta cooks, add wine to bacon pan and deglaze the bottom.
  5. Drain pasta while reserving 1 cup of cooking water. Add hot pasta to pan, then add spinach, tomatoes, and butter. Stir gently allowing the spinach to wilt, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and serve.

I’m presuming the tomatoes are added to the pan while wilting the spinach, because they ( the tomatoes) are not mentioned in the directions. Can you clarify please?
