Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced white onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 pound 93% lean ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1/2 (14-ounce) bag classic coleslaw mix
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons less-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 green onion, sliced

DIRECTIONS

  1. In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add white onion; cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add garlic and ginger; cook 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Add turkey and chili garlic sauce; cook 5 minutes or until turkey is browned, breaking up turkey with side of spoon.
  2. Add coleslaw mix, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper; cook 5 minutes or until coleslaw is crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Makes about 3-1/2 cups.
  3. Serve turkey mixture sprinkled with green onion.
