- Preheat oven to 375°; line rimmed baking pan with aluminum foil. Place bread in single layer on prepared pan; bake 6 minutes or until toasted, turning once halfway through baking. Place oven rack 4 to 5 inches from broiler; preheat broiler to high.
- In medium bowl, stir mayonnaise, ¼ cup cheese, chives and paprika. Makes about ½ cup mayonnaise mixture.
- Spread mayonnaise mixture over toasts; sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon cheese and broil 2 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 32 toasts.
- Serve toasts garnished with chives, if desired.
