- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Directions
- In large bowl, gently mix beef, egg, 2 tablespoons marinade, breadcrumbs, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper; form into 1 1/2-inch meatballs. Pour remaining marinade over meatballs and gently stir to coat; let stand 30 minutes. Makes about 30 meatballs.
- Soak skewers in water 20 minutes; prepare outdoor grill for direct grilling over medium-high heat.
- Thread meatballs onto skewers; discard marinade. Place skewers on hot grill rack; cover and cook 10 minutes or until internal temperature of meatballs reaches 160°, turning once. Serve sprinkled with onions, if desired.
