  1. With kitchen scissors, snip off and discard wing tips. With sharp knife, split wings at the joint into the middle section and drumette.
  2. In 5-to 6-quart slow cooker, whisk garlic, cola, sugar and soy sauce. Add wings and stir to coat; cover and cook on high 2½ hours or low 5 hours or until wings are very tender and falling apart, stirring quickly every hour. Makes about 24 wings.
  3. With slotted spoon, transfer wings to serving platter; sprinkle with chives.
