  • Sliced jalapeño peppers for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. In large skillet, cook ground sirloin over medium-high heat 8 minutes or until browned, breaking up sirloin with side of spoon. With slotted spoon, transfer ground sirloin to paper towel-lined plate to drain; discard drippings.
  2. In same skillet, add onion and oil; cook over medium-high heat 2 minutes or until slightly softened, stirring constantly.
  3. In large bowl, stir beans with their juices, chiles with their juice, barbeque sauce, hot sauce, chili powder, salt, ground sirloin and onion; transfer bean mixture to 13 x 9-inch or 3-quart baking dish.
  4. Bake 1 hour or until top is browned and sauce thickens; garnish with jalapeños, if desired.
